Central High Mentoring Program
An Overview of the Student Assistance Program
Student Assistance Programs (SAP) were designated to aid school personnel in identifying and assisting students who may be experiencing behavior or academic problems in school.  At times, those problems may be related to mental health concerns, or alcohol and other drug use.    The SAP team utilizes a systematic process, along with specially trained school personnel, to intervene and refer these students to appropriate in-school and/or community services.
