    FreeRice.com - Interactive review game. Correct answers earn rice for UN World Food Program.  Subjects include art, chemistry, English, geography, world languages and math.  
    Google Drive - allows users to create, store and share documents, slideshows and spreadsheets.  Student accounts are available to provide students with access to use this service.  Files can be shared to allow small groups of students to edit the same file.  Student email addresses are available for school use.
    Google Tools - you already know about using Google to search.  Did you know that Google also provides dozens of other free tools that can be useful to teachers, students and parents? 
    Google Search Tips & Tricks - use Google to quickly find a weather forecast, convert English and metric units, sport scores, movies, flights, definitions and more.
    iPiccy - online photo editor.
    Khan Academy - Over 2,000 free, educational videos.  Most of the videos are for secondary math and science.  The Developmental Math section includes basic math concepts such as place value, rounding, fractions, multiplication, and division.  These videos may be useful for regular instruction, enrichment, remediation or homework help for students and parents.
    NBC Learn - thousands of historic videos, current events, and original resources for K-12 teachers and students.  Login to blendedschools.net to access the complete collection of resources.
    Noodle Tools - online bibliography creator.
    PBWorks - free, safe, online collaboration tool.  PB stands for peanut butter because using it is as easy as making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
    Prezi - allows users to create zooming presentations using text, images, uploaded files, links and embedded videos.  An email address is required to sign up for an account.
    Photostory - free download from Microsoft that can be used to make slideshows or videos. 
    QR Code Generator - make your own quick response codes that can be scanned to open a web page, phone number or text.

    TinyUrl - use to shorten a long URL address.  Works great in email messages to prevent long URL addresses from being broken
    ThinkFinity - searchable education database that includes lesson plans, interactive games and web sites, today in history, and education news.
    Twitter - view a list of educational hashtags that can be used to follow current topics in education.  A listing of teachers using Twitter can be found at Twitter4Teachers.
    VoiceThread - upload images, documents or videos and add narration or allow others to record text, audio or video comments.  View a project created by Mrs. Zangrilli's first graders.  
    Voki - allows you to create personalized speaking avatars for use on your web page, wikispace, blog, profile, and in email messages.
    Wikispaces - allows users to create web pages that can be opened for students or others to collaborate by editing shared pages.  A discussion feature is also available.
